Prayer
Please be a prayer partner
A Prayer Partner scheme has been launched by
Christian Enquiry Agency to ensure that enquirers and those involved in the
work are prayed for regularly. Would you be willing to pray once a week for
this vital work of helping people to know about Jesus Christ?
Short prayer requests are emailed to Prayer
Partners each week. Meanwhile, see the prayer points listed below. If you would
like to be involved, click
here.
Please pray each week for:
- those who contact Christian Enquiry Agency wanting to
know about Jesus Christ.
- further opportunities to reach people who have little
knowledge of Jesus or the Christian faith.
- finance needed to continue and develop the work.

Record enquiries about Jesus mean Christian
Enquiry Agency needs to raise more money to cover the cost of responding to so
many people who want information and help.
It costs CEA just £10 on average to
introduce someone to Jesus Christ. This includes sending free information and
providing further help such as answering questions, offering prayer, sending
details of local Alpha courses and arranging contact with a local
Christian.
Would you consider giving a regular gift to CEA?
Here are two examples of what this can do if given with Gift Aid.
- £8 per month - introduces one person a month to
Jesus.
- £4 per month - introduces six people a year to
Jesus.

Become a Local Contact
How does this service work?
Many of the people who get in touch with Christian Enquiry Agency do not go to church. One of the ways CEA seeks to help is by offering contact with a local Christian, and hundreds of people ask for this.
How do you find the right contact for an enquirer?
We search our database for a contact in the same postcode area as the enquirer and, if there is one, try to match according to distance, experience and gender (male enquirers are matched with male contacts, etc.). If there is no-one suitable in the immediate area the search is widened until one is found.
How can someone apply to be a contact?
Anyone interested can request an application form by visiting the
Contact for Christ website or contacting Rob Bradshaw, Contact For Christ, Deo Gloria Trust, Selsdon House, 212-220 Addington Road, South Croydon, Surrey, CR2 8LD. Tel: 020 8651 6246. e-mail:
rob@deo-gloria.co.uk. All applicants are required to complete a comprehensive form and provide the names of two Christian leaders, as referees, who know them well.
Do you know what happens?
We ask all of our contacts to send a report telling us how the enquiry developed. Many encouraging stories are received and we rejoice when we hear of enquirers who are now attending church.
